Vanperio is an educational bone model designed to illustrate all the possible periodontal osseous defects associated with human mandible. Anatomically correct with commonest to rarest of periodontal disease depictions, this model can be used both in learning as well as for Viva-voce / Examination for identification and discussion of various bone defects. 
Manufactured by 3d printing method, layer by layer deposition like that of bone formation, Vanperio consists of outer solid layer and inner porous layer simulating cortical and cancellous bone pattern.
It can be used for coloring with markers and sectioned or drilled for mock-surgeries also.
It is also useful in demonstration and practice of hand grasps related to Oral hygiene method and Periodontal instrumentation including demonstration of Finger rests, Probing, Scaling , Flap designs, GTR placement, Bone grafting and Suturing techniques. It can be used for demonstration of needle positioning during LA injections.
